ADB1002 DVI
The ADB1002 provide a DVI-Connector for connecting a usual Monitor. The corresponding driver-chip translates the Signals of the |TFT Controller to signals conform to the DVI-specification. This Chip can be controlled via I2C. Using a kernel as delivered with these boards, the chip is initialized and enabled at boot time.
The specific resolution used on this port can be adjusted as seen in Displays on Atmel LCDC. As suitable templates for other display configurations, the settings in the file project_build_arm/adb1002/linux-2.6.33.2/drivers/video/modedb.c can be used. Unfortunately the LCD-Controller is not able to generate every pixelclock. By design only clocks resulting in a integer-division of the CPU-clock can be generated. The driver tries to match the given frequencies as close as possible, but some monitors aren't be able to display every resolution and setting set.
