When building own applications on top of our boards or integrating a module into a custom board, a cross toolchain is needed. We're providing a specially modified version of buildroot to our customers to help them with this task. Integrated in this environment are the modifications and patches needed to run Linux on one of our modules.
Buildroot is a source-distribution. On installation it will download all selected packages, compile them and generate suitable Filesystem-Images.
