Hardware

ICnova ADB1004

The ICnova ADB1004 is a ready to go touch display solution with ADB1004, 5inch display and ICnova SAM9G45 OEM. Just connect to power (e.g. USB) and see the Linux booting up in display! It works with ICnova AP7000 OEM, ICnova AP7000 OEMplus, ICnova i.MX353 OEM and ICnova SAM9G45 OEM.


The ICnova ADB1004 is designed for:

  • Home automation
  • digital photo frame


The ICnova ADB1004 has the following features:

  • 1xHigh-Speed-USB 2.0 Host port
  • 1xHigh-Speed-USB 2.0 Device Port
  • 1xTFT-Touchscreen display
  • PWM controller for TFT brightness
  • 1xSD/MMC card holder with MMI interface
  • UART, RS485, SPI Interfaces
  • Real-Time-Clock buffered
  • 1xI²C interface
  • 1xJTAG-interface (compatible with JTAGICE-mkII)
  • 1x Socket for ICradio OEM Modules


The ICnova ADB1004 can be ordered at our Shop. Different Starter kits with ICnova CPU-Modules and Touchscreens are also available in the Shop

Suitable CPU Modules

Software

All Modules provided by In-Circuit usally have a Buildroot based system preinstalled, so they can be used out of the box.
Login as "root" for which no password is set.

If you are new to kernel building please refer to First Steps with Buildroot.

The Board support packages listed in table above contain all sources required to build the linux image for the different combinations with the ICnova ADB1004.
If an older version of the BSP is needed please look at our Downloads section.

Generally the bootloaders on our modules are configured to loook for a bootable linux image on the SD-Card and only boot from flash if none is found.
