ICPROX-SEC
The ICPROX-SEC checks who is allowed to move a vehicle or open a door. It reads RFID cards without contact and passes the rights stored on the card on to the ICPROX system. Without a valid card the safety circuit stays open and the vehicle will not move off.
The rights live on the card, not in the reader — a new driver simply receives a card written accordingly, and nothing has to be changed on the vehicles. Cards are written with the ICPROX-SECW desktop unit (902.206B) and the ICSecManager Windows software.

Getting started
- Mount the reader within easy reach — on a vehicle near the driver, at a door at hand height — and not directly onto a large metal surface.
- Wire the device line to the ICPROX-CPU on a vehicle, or to the ICPROX-4R2I at a door.
- Connect the external push-button if a gate or danger point is to be switched.
- Write the rights onto the cards with the ICPROX-SECW desktop unit.
- Present an authorised card and check the response, then verify with a card that is not authorised.

Note: Access control prevents unauthorised persons from driving off. It is not a substitute for a mechanical safeguard against a parked vehicle rolling away.
