radino32 DW1000
Hardware
The In-Circuit radino32DW1000 combines an STM32L151 with the DW1000 UWB radio from Decawave in a small form-factor EMC-compliant module.
The DW1000 is a fully integrated single chip Ultra Wideband (UWB) low-power low-cost transceiver IC compliant to IEEE802.15.4-2011. It can be used in 2-way ranging or TDOA location systems to locate assets to a precision of 10 cm. It also supports data transfer at rates up to 6.8 Mbps.
The core of the radino32 DW1000 is the powerful STM32L151 by STMicroelectronics, which with 32-bit ARM® Cortex®-M3 CPU, 32 kbyte RAM, 256 kbyte Flash and 8 kbyte EPROM provides enough resources for complex functionalities.
The radino32 DW1000 is part of the radino-series, which provides compact wireless modules. All radino32Modules are pin-to-pin compatible.

Software
The radino32 DW1000 ships carrying the demo application — so the ranging between two modules can be checked straight away, before any code of your own exists.
Your own programs go onto the module as a .bin file using stm32flash over the serial interface — see radino32 software. The examples and drivers are there as well.
Note for Windows: Windows fits the bootloader with the wrong driver. Setting the right one is described under radino32 software too.
