The device ICnova SAM9G45 SODIMM is equipped with an Atmel AT91SAM9G45 MCU or its sister MCU Atmel AT91SAM9M10. It operates with an ARM926EJS core at 400MHz CPU clock.

Software

All Modules provided by In-Circuit usually have a Buildroot based system preinstalled, so they can be used out of the box.
Login as "root" for which no password is set.

If you are new to kernel building please refer to First Steps with Buildroot.

The board support package contains all sources required to build the linux image for the ICnova SAM9G45 SODIMM on the main ADB.
The most recent version is listed at the bottom of this page. Other versions can be found on the Downloads page.

Generally the bootloaders on our modules are configured to look for a bootable linux image on the SD-Card and only boot from flash if none is found.

On the ICnova SAM9G45 SODIMM the bootloader u-boot is preinstalled on the on-board flash.
