ICPROX-4R2I
The ICPROX-4R2I makes any spot in a building capable of protecting itself. Mounted at a junction, a gate or a danger point, it detects vehicles within an adjustable radius by ultra-wideband radio and reacts immediately — with a beacon, a horn, a barrier, or by slowing the vehicle down itself.
The very same device can be fitted to a vehicle, where it carries out the requests coming from the danger points — as a self-contained vehicle unit: a vehicle that only needs to respond to the infrastructure requires nothing beyond a single 4R2I; the full ICPROX vehicle system (control unit, display, antennas) is only needed to detect people, AGVs or other vehicles as well. Make this choice deliberately — on a later upgrade to the full system, the 4R2I on the vehicle cannot be reused. Everything is set with slide switches — no PC and no software are involved, and there is never a cable between the module and a vehicle.

Getting started
- With the power off, select the operating mode on switches S1.1 and S1.2.
- Set the detection radius on block S2 (base radius plus the switch values).
- Choose device group, R4 behaviour, spot function and display style on blocks S3 and S4.
- Mount the unit high up with a clear view of the area, not directly behind metal.
- Wire supply, relays and inputs — mains loads only through an interposing relay — then switch on and check the response with a vehicle.
