1 Produktübersicht1 Product overview
Der ICPROX-KEY ist der Schlüssel zur Einrichtung eines ICPROX-Fahrzeugs. Er hat weder Tasten noch Anzeige: Sobald er mit Strom versorgt wird und sich in der Nähe des Fahrzeugs befindet, gibt die Steuereinheit ihre Weboberfläche frei. Wird der Schlüssel wieder entfernt, verschwindet das Einrichtungsnetz — im täglichen Betrieb sendet das Fahrzeug also kein offenes WLAN aus.

The ICPROX-KEY is the key to setting up an ICPROX vehicle. It has neither buttons nor a display: as soon as it is powered and near the vehicle, the control unit enables its web interface. Remove the key and the set-up network disappears again — so during everyday operation the vehicle does not broadcast an open Wi-Fi network.

3 Anwendung3 How to use it
- Schlüssel mit Strom versorgen: USB-Stecker in Powerbank, Laptop oder Ladegerät stecken.
- In die Nähe des Fahrzeugs bringen: Der Schlüssel muss sich im Umfeld des Fahrzeugs befinden, ein Sichtkontakt ist nicht nötig.
- Mit dem Einrichtungsnetz verbinden: Am Smartphone oder Laptop die WLAN-Liste öffnen und
ICPROX-Setupauswählen. Alternativ den QR-Code auf dem Fahrzeugdisplay abscannen. - Browser öffnen: Die Weboberfläche der Steuereinheit erscheint. Einstellungen vornehmen, Geräte prüfen oder Firmware aktualisieren.
- Schlüssel abziehen: Nach getaner Arbeit die Stromversorgung trennen — das Einrichtungsnetz wird daraufhin wieder abgeschaltet.
- Power the key: Plug the USB connector into a power bank, laptop or charger.
- Bring it near the vehicle: The key has to be within the area around the vehicle; a line of sight is not required.
- Join the set-up network: Open the Wi-Fi list on your smartphone or laptop and select
ICPROX-Setup. Alternatively scan the QR code shown on the vehicle display. - Open the browser: The control unit's web interface appears. Change settings, check the connected devices or update the firmware.
- Unplug the key: When you have finished, disconnect the power — the set-up network is then switched off again.

4 Betriebsverhalten4 Operating behaviour
Die Steuereinheit sucht in kurzen Abständen nach einem zugelassenen Schlüssel. Wird einer erkannt, schaltet sie das Einrichtungsnetz ein; fehlt er über längere Zeit, schaltet sie es wieder ab. Eine bestehende Browsersitzung wird dabei beendet.
Sind mehrere Fahrzeuge nebeneinander abgestellt, kann ein Schlüssel bei allen die Weboberfläche freigeben, für die er zugelassen ist. In der WLAN-Liste erscheinen dann mehrere Einträge; das gewünschte Fahrzeug lässt sich am zugehörigen Namen erkennen, den das Display anzeigt.
The control unit scans for an approved key at short intervals. When it finds one it switches the set-up network on; if the key is absent for a longer period it switches it off again. Any open browser session ends at that point.
If several vehicles are parked next to each other, one key can enable the web interface on all of those it is approved for. Several entries then appear in the Wi-Fi list; you can identify the vehicle you want by the name shown on its display.

6 Fehlerbehebung6 Troubleshooting
